Pubblico la copertina del libro di Terzani perchè come lui rispose al libro di Oriana Fallaci "La rabbia e l'orgoglio" dopo l'attentato dell'11 settembre , anche io credo che la risposta non sia nella guerra ma dentro di noi.
Non si può non essere contro chi fa degli ostaggi e spara con un mitra contro chi sta tranquillamente cenando al ristorante, questo è ovvio come anche il fatto che questi atroci delitti vadano puniti applicando la legge ma non ci scordiamo che coloro che compiono questi assurdi atti e s'immolano per una causa senza senso al servizio delle multinazionali delle armi e quant altro sono anch'essi vittime e uomini, come noi lo siamo.
Non esiste possibilità di rispondere all'odio con l'odio, non funziona.
Occhio per occhio rende il mondo cieco, diceva Gandhi.
Chi ha armato questi uomini? Chi li ha convinti a suicidarsi per uccidere altre persone innocenti solo per urlare "Allah è grande" ? Che senso ha creare il terrore in una città senza aver colpito alcun importante centro nevralgico politico o militare ?
Quante persone vengono uccise ogni giorno nel mondo in guerre si e no conosciute e nessuno ne da notizia?
Il terrore creato dal fatto che il 20% del pianeta ha l'80% delle ricchezze comincia a trasferirsi nel nostro paradiso terrestre ed è necessario iniziare a fare i conti con la sostenibilità del tipo di vita che stiamo facendo e soprattutto che "loro" stanno facendo...
Provo profonda tristezza e compassione per tutte le vittime di Parigi ma anche per i loro carnefici che non sono altro che pedine sacrificabili di una serie di livelli di comando che giocano con la vita delle persone nel mondo. Anche per loro provo compassione perchè la loro è una triste vita : basata sull'accumulo di ricchezze inutili che non potranno portarsi nella tomba.
Le vere ricchezze sono dentro di noi: la nostra gioia di vivere, l'amore, la bellezza, la consapevolezza.
